About Lines in Motion

Embarking on a process of design is always an exciting endeavour. Like lines we draw in an initial sketch, legibility is achieved only through curious iterations and trust in the process. Embracing risk and uncertainty by taking unexpected turns and making playful improvisations often rewards us with new discoveries and possibilities.

In this spirit, this graduation exhibition celebrates and presents over 230 graduates from the Faculty of Design. Every project is a line drawn on a larger sketch. Some converge in discourse to form ideas and meanings while others diverge into broader inquiries in the field, but they are always in constant movement towards imagined futures.

Just as how the start and end of a single line do not determine the final image, we invite you to view the projects as lines in motion - works that continuously move and extend across domains and practices, as strokes that confidently make their marks in the field of design.
