With a lot of experience in illustration and Western calligraphy, her latest project utilizes her fondness for pen-drawn designs. Javanese Tea Packaging explorations through archival material and letterpress
Teh Tubruk is a traditional Javanese tea product that has made its indelible mark on Indonesian vernacular design for the past century. The first part of this project archives the design language utilized by the Javanese designers. The second part of this project explores the culture of eateries (wedangan) No packaging for tea blends made by Wedangan exists, but these new tea packaging have been printed using letterpress.
