As a sensitive topic, homesickness is a common experience among female Indonesian students aged 19–23 who live away from home, primarily triggered by longing for the physical presence of their loved ones. These individuals often associate emotions with objects, making tactile experiences, such as form, texture, and touch, essential in forming emotional bonds. These tactile interactions aim to provide a sense of comfort and security for them.
