Her creative journey started in a rather unorthodox way, where she designed fanfiction posters for a classmate in return for bookshop goodies in primary school at the ripe age of 10. Today, she channels that same scrappy spirit into playful, offbeat projects that sit at the intersection of design, humour and storytelling.

The Malay Paradox explores the conflation of Malay and Muslim identities, and how it can lead to a rigid idea of how a Malay person should be. It also brings to light the experiences of non-Muslim Malays to better understand what happens when someone does not fit that idea.
