The Korean Tiger Visits Singapore
How can we understand something we can no longer meet?
The Korean Tiger, once a vital presence in Korea's cultural and geographical landscape, has faded into abstraction. Vanishing from the peninsula eight decades ago, and stripped of genetic distinction in 2012, its legacy now lingers as a faint and superficial symbol. Borrowing Nathan Goldstein's concept of responsive drawing, this project reimagines the Korean Tiger's presence through a personal lens — exploring where it might roam and what marks it would leave had it “visited” Singapore.
