Yunso (also known as Soda) is a multidisciplinary graphic designer with a passion for computational design. Her work is inspired by observing how people perceive themselves and the world around them, how they respond to different stimuli, and by exploring unconventional, immersive approaches to storytelling. Mind in Motion is a series of interfaces that translates brain activity into creative outputs. At a time when the creative process is frequently automated, it explores what our sense of control means in a creative interface. It draws inspiration from surrealist automatism—a method to relinquish conscious control to allow the unconscious mind to guide the outcome. The interfaces offer users a souvenir that, even without direct control, may become an authentic imprint of individuality.
