I'm passionate about exploring culture and identity through research-driven design. Growing up in a mixed-heritage household, my work draws from personal experiences of navigating bicultural identity. My final-year project, Third Form, is a homeware brand that reflects the duality of Asian and Western cultures. I aim to create meaningful, narrative-led design that gives voice to underrepresented identities through branding, cultural strategy and experience design.
Third Form
A homeware brand celebrating bicultural identity through balanced Asian-Western design duality.
Third Form is a homeware brand that explores bicultural identity through the fusion of Asian and Western design. Rooted in personal narrative, it reflects the experience of navigating a 'third space'—a hybrid cultural identity. Through form, material, and symbolism, the brand challenges cultural binaries and shows how two distinct cultures can coexist harmoniously, creating objects that embody duality, belonging, and the beauty of cultural balance.
