Dawon is interested in multidisciplinary thinking and user experience design. By integrating concepts from humanities and sociology into design, she has honed various communication skills to explore the inherent meaning and value of products and effectively convey them. Dawon understands the functions and characteristics of various media as a means to achieve the purpose of design. The Narrative Threads of Hanbok
Storytelling project that conveys the traditional meaning of Hanbok through sensory experiences.
The aim of this project is to reignite the interest of Korean Gen Z in traditional Hanbok by evoking their nostalgia. To achieve this, the project presents stories of life's wisdom embedded in Hanbok in the form of letters from the older generation. The stories of grandmothers and grandfathers who have wisely overcome difficult times are displayed through SNS, Application, and publication.
