I’m Denise, a graphic designer and illustrator interested in playful, tactile, and thoughtful visual experiences. I enjoy exploring branding, print, and storytelling through work that feels both curious and intentional. Often drawn to texture, colour, and unexpected details, I like creating designs that invite people to slow down, look closer, and connect with the idea behind them.
Paper Shells
Transforming household organic waste into handcrafted tactile paper artefacts.
Paper Shells explores material-led making through handcrafted paper formed from household organic waste. Using fibres such as pandan leaves, the project experiments with texture, structure, and repetition, transforming everyday remnants into tactile artefacts. Rooted in hands-on exploration, the process embraces trial, repetition, and material play, investigating how discarded organic matter can take on new forms, surfaces, and sensory qualities through paper-making.
