RE:MEDY
Supporting digital wellbeing through hybrid interventions grounded in Self-Determination Theory.
RE:MEDY is a hybrid design intervention developed to resolve the 'Digital Detox Dilemma,' addressing the irony of relying on apps to stop smartphone addiction. Grounded in Self-Determination Theory, this project moves away from restrictive and screen-based tools that lead to stress and user fatigue. By shifting the focus from the screen to the physical space, RE:MEDY helps users disconnect from constant notifications and doomscrolling to reclaim their time for self-reflection and intentional rest.
