Jared is an artist, photographer, and multidisciplinary designer. With ten years behind the lens professionally, he has long been fascinated by how the world reveals itself through light. Photography has trained his eye to read a scene and to notice what many walk past, an instinct which shapes his work. He brings the same attentiveness to making as to working with light, every detail considered and every object carefully built. Curious and explorative, he is drawn to subtleties, slowness, and the beautiful things we pass by without seeing.
Behold
Relational and light-based works designed for presence in a fast-paced world.
In a world that doesn’t stop moving, we have forgotten how to see it. Behold is a collection of relational and light-based objects and environments designed to slow us down and quietly remind us that beauty lives in the everyday; it is not created or curated, but noticed. These works do not ask for your attention; they simply exist to create the conditions and invite you to be present.
