OHWA
Expression becomes color, color becomes form, through five Korean tones.
OHWA is a generative web piece that translates facial expression into obangsaek, the five colors from Korean tradition. As the camera reads the face in real time, the screen blooms into a living composition of color and form, unique to every viewer. The project explores how cultural memory and contemporary technology can meet in a single visual experience.
