Eugenia’s design practice explores identity and cultural positioning between digital and physical spaces. Her multidisciplinary work transitions between branding and typography, creative coding, publication design and digital interactions. An advocate for personal/cultural expression, she integrates experimental approaches, representing identity in spaces of in-betweenness. Drawn to design's narrative power, she aspires to be an Art Director, merging art and design with lasting cultural depth.
Script Hybridity
An inquiry into hybrid identity and language dissonance through trans-scripting Chinese and Latin scripts.
Script Hybridity expresses cultural identity embedded within analogue and digital systems. Through hybridising both the Chinese and Latin scripts via bi-directional trans-scripting, the injection of one language’s writing system into another, artefacts negotiate and investigate new modes of expressing hybrid identity, transforming autoethnographic friction into a site of collective cultural resonance.
