The Sacred Third examines how work, stigma, and cultural representation shape the lives of transgender women in Bengaluru, India, using re-storytelling to foreground dignity, struggle, and memory beyond tokenism. Grounded in everyday life, it draws from labour and cultural practices such as traffic signal collection and ritual blessings, alongside structural barriers to employment. Through visual documentation of workplaces and shared living spaces, it reflects how identity is negotiated and how communities build support systems despite social exclusion.
