Touching Emotions: an embossed pattern experience

Bringing Tactility back for both the visual and visually-impaired

Designers have move forward with the idea of tactility and/or haptics in the digital world, but it is not accessible for people with sight disabilities. This project aims to better understand the potential or role of touch in visual communication. Hence, the objective is to create a common language for the visual and visually-impaired people by integrating tactile and graphic design. Through this project, they can understand each other emotions and communicate without any visual barrier. Although we have arrived at digital designs. going back to tactility is fun, interesting, and most importantly, people with sight disabilities can now enjoy visual design.
